چکیده

Abstract The use of plant extracts rich in primary and secondary metabolites as biostimulants agriculture is a modern approach for increasing the sustainability crops. Quinoa seeds ( Chenopodium quinoa Willd.) spinach leaves Spinacia oleracea L.) are valuable source biologically active compounds metabolism such polyphenolic ecdysteroids. An important producers – polysaccharides common chicory Cichorium intybus L.), used to obtain inulin cluster bean Cyamopsis tetragonoloba (L.) Taub.), which accumulates guar gum. study interaction plants an essential component research order increase their resistance biodegradation preserve optimum biological action. This paper presents data from preliminary interactions components derived raw materials vitro model system. Evaluation sorption capacity (inulin, gum) was carried out relation 20-hydroxyecdysone (20E) minor substance (BAS) seeds. ratio 20E 92.25-95.87% studied concentrations solutions. Sorption solution gum with concentration 0.5% 94.17-96.00%, other cases, complete observed. Thus, one should be guided by optimal enriched ensure maximum physiological effect.

Studies on the Interaction of Guar Gum with Chalcopyrite

Adsorption, electrokinetic and flotation studies have been carried out to investigate the interaction of guar gum with chalcopyrite. The adsorption density of guar gum onto chalcopyrite shows a weak adsorption maximum at pH 9.5. The adsorption isotherms exhibit Langmuirian behaviour. The electrophoretic mobilities of chalcopyrite are decreased in proportion to the added concentration of guar gu...

Pressure cell assisted solution characterization of polysaccharides. 1. Guar gum.

To reduce time-dependent aggregation phenomena and achieve true "molecular" solution, the "pressure cell" solubilization method of Vorwerg and co-workers was applied to solutions of guar galactomannans (three samples of different molecular weights), using various heating, time, and pressure profiles. Physicochemical characterization of the guar samples before and after pressure cell treatment i...

Polyelectrolytes from polysaccharides: selective oxidation of guar gum- a revisited reaction

The aim of this work was to study the properties of the carboxylated polyelectrolyte obtained from guar gum. The C-6 alcohol functions of galactose units side chains were oxidized first by GO-ase to aldehyde groups and then to carboxylic groups by halogen oxidation. The enzymic oxidation step was followed by the Dische method, by viscosity and light scattering measurements. With regard to previ...

Thermal Degradation of Guar Gum

Information about the thermal degradation of guar gum has been obtained from the time dependence of the viscosity at high temperatures measured using a slit viscometer. The viscosity is related to the molecular weight using previously published relations between the zero shear specific viscosity and the coil overlap parameter in conjunction with the appropriate Mark-Houwink equation. Unlike ani...

Antioxidant and Immunoregulatory Activity of Polysaccharides from Quinoa (Chenopodium quinoa Willd.)

The water-extractable (QWP) and the alkali-extractable (QAP) polysaccharides from quinoa (named QWP and QAP, respectively) and their four polysaccharide sub-fractions (QWP-1, QWP-2, QAP-1 and QAP-2), were isolated and purified by anion-exchange and gel filtration chromatography. QWP-1 and QWP-2 were composed of Rha, Ara, Gal and GalA. QAP-1 and QAP-2 were composed of Rha, Ara, Man, Gal and GalA...
